Wenholthausen is only a 15-minute drive from Meschede and Schmallenberg. The A46 motorway can be reached in only 10 minutes. There are many companies located in the surrounding area. The Wenholthausen recreational area is located in Homert nature park, in the Hochsauerland district. Thanks to its altitude of 250 to 592 metres above sea level, this town offers terrific views over the rich woodlands of the Homert and Rothaargebirge mountain ranges.
